For my language arts class, we have to research african-american peoeple. Well i just so happened to pick Mrs. Josephine Garis Cochrane, because she was on a website of african-american inventors. I did all this research on Mrs. Cochrane, but when i looked her photo up on Google she looked white to me. My teacher said that she might just be fare-skinned but she dosen’t look so fare-skinned to me…. is Mrs. Cochrane White or Black ?

This website really helped with my project for gifted classes. This is a great source of the internet about the inventor of the dishwasher. This inventors name is Josephine Garis Cochrane and the memories and the future that made the day when she made the dishwasher. My project is used with the tri-board (science fair). This is for the end of the banquet and we must dress as the the inventor which is kind of hard.

Interesting stuff. Apparently Josephine Cochrane got so frustrated that her servants kept chipping her expensive dishes that she decided to go out and design a dishwasher herself. That’s some good initiative!
